SZR was set up in, 1999, in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo State, bearing the trade brand Destak, addressed at Rua Maria Ósti, 84, which further due to its market expansion moved on to Rua Saldanha Marinho, 2815, equipped with more modern
facilities. In 2000, together with chinese parteners, we put into place the distribution of our products all over China States, located at Unit 2 On 9th Floor, Summit Insurance Building, No.789 Nathan Road Kowloon, Hong kong.

  The Enterprise, SZR – Empresarial, Industrial, Exportadora de Sub-Produtos de Bovinos Ltda (Entrepreneurial, Industrial, Bovine By-Products Exporter, was installed in Quintana, a city in the State of São Paulo, in January 2004, after a business deal closed with the owners of a jerky meat processing unit, which was operating in that
place and withheld the SIF licensing number, that is, the Ministry of Agriculture’s approval to handle products of the foods line; that meant we should make the needed changes on both physical and some concerning registry by the Ministry of Agriculture. A business that already had permission from the Ministry of Agriculture to operate
would skip a great deal of slow bureaucratic processes to get the referred company up and running. We can say that on the one hand, the SIF licensing was the first reason for us to set up business in the city of Quintana, SP; on the other hand, it was to be in the State of São Paulo, which entitled us to benefit from the ICMS (Value-Added Tax on Sales and Services) incentives.

  What is more, it also enabled us to purchase equipments putting them in use in the association. Our business is to export Bovine offal and to trade on the domestic market the products that are not suitable for the foreign one. We render services on consulting in the domestic market as well. Today, we rely on the help of a great number of employees at the branch industry in Quintana, SP, and 10 employees in our headquarters, where the administrative, financial and commercial works are performed. The company started the refurbishing and building up at the beginning of January, 2000, and in July, 2004, we hired the personnel that would work in the production to whom it would be given a specific training to work with the product (frozen beef offal), once, in
that city, there was no skilled labor force. The financial resource to be invested on the build up, refurbish and machinery was thoroughly of our own. In addition, some machines and raw materials were acquired
with the benefit of ICMS (Value-Added Tax on Sales and Services) credit - such a one granted by São Paulo State.

  The Plant had its inaugural officially held by the governor of São Paulo State, Mr. Geraldo Alckmin, on January, 2005, and delegates from the City Council Chamber, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture supporters. The company’s main purpose is to lay down steady and long lasting basis on the domestic market, as well as to broaden and diversify its priorities on the foreign market always focusing on an ever growing partnership with customers and suppliers. In 2005 we built a new Plant to operate in the domain of Beef, Pork, and Goat Casings located on Rua Antonio Lista, Quintana’s Industrial District. In 2007, SZR started up a new segment on the area of representing the respective  Professional Uniforms and Plastic Packaging. All our Units own state-of-the-art facilities for Industrialization, Representing and Distributorship on the Foreign Market, with their own facilities.
